It is compulsory to compile and submit an Employment Equity report to the Department of Labour, if you currently employ over 50 employees or meet the industry annual turnover limit, before October of each year.

Businesses that fail to comply could potentially face fines of up to R2.7 million or 10% of annual turnover.
